My three phenomenal years at Ashok Leyland presented me with diverse opportunity into the automotive sector and pushed me to expand my world of brand. I was responsible for managing the brand marketing and corporate communications for 18 countries. My tenure encapsulated strategizing product launches, building brand salience, global customer events, increasing the share of voice and creating digital assets. Engagement with teams of different nationalities and across various times zones delivering multiple creative solutions expanded my comfort zone and strengthened my tolerance to adversity.

Infrastructure Branding

Worked with dealers in 16 countries to brand the infrastructure 60+ sales, service and spares outlets (Internal and External).

Merchandise

Developed Oyster Bus Scale Model (1:43) Giveaway from 3D drawings.

Campaigns

Led creative design, communication, and content development for multi-language print, on-ground and digital assets in English, Arabic, French and Russian. Developed and executed integrated marketing communications plans for sales, service and spare-parts.

Events

Planned and executed launch of 5 new products and organized 40+ big ticket events for project launch, regional office, dealer facility inauguration, customer partnership events and country-specific exhibitions across geographies.

Photoshoot

Liaised with multiple agencies to conduct photoshoot. Developed an in-house resource to reduce costs.

Communications

Managed internal and external corporate communications for the brand – press releases for product launch, project orders, senior leadership profiling, regional updates, annual reports. Increased share of voice for the brand.

Videos

Videos shot locally across key regions UAE, Russia, Ivory Coast, Bangladesh & Nepal.

Workshops

Increased brand awareness within teams by conducting ‘Living the Brand’ workshops, an internal communications training framework.
